Teach for Hong Kong Foundation is an organization founded with the aim of improving the quality of education in Hong Kong through programs directed towards Hong Kong's teachers.  We strive to serve a community of secondary and primary school teachers and to provide them with opportunities to improve their teaching.  These may be study-trips, community work locally or abroad, or other further education opportunities that they may not otherwise have access to.

Objective of the Study Trip Grant

In view of the fact that many secondary school teachers rarely have the opportunity to broaden their horizons outside of the classroom, our Foundation seeks to establish a financial loan-grant program that will provide teachers with the means to partake in study trips, community work, or other opportunities to further their education.  We believe that, through the enhancement of knowledge base and the provision of opportunities to simultaneously pursue passion as well as reduce stress, such a program not only will promote among teachers the ideal of life-long learning, but also will improve the quality of their teaching.  The Foundation will collaborate with schools so that their teachers would be aware of, and participate in, this program.
